One of the best experiences we had is not documented with anything other than memories. In Marchioneer Bay of Little Jost Van Dyke is an establishment called Foxy's Taboo. We went there in the afternoon and were introduced to a "Blue Taboo" a great new drink created at Foxy's Taboo. The bartender is a young man from Grenada with an A+ computer certification and is furthering his studies while working at Foxy's Taboo. Of course we struck a friendship and have since been corresponding by email.
We made reservations for dinner.
We returned at 6:30 for dinner expecting some good island fare. Boy were we in for a surprise! We started with an appetizer of scallops - really fresh and in a wonderful sauce. (This commentary comes from someone who is not a seafood lover.)
Two of us had sword fish and two had tuna. The portions were overly generous and exquisitely presented. The food was absolutely some of the best any of us had ever eaten. The chef is a refugee from New Orleans and could be anywhere he wants. He chooses to be at Foxy's Taboo.
