In This Issue | Tips and TutorialsOne of the things you can do to speed up your computer is to empty your temporary internet folder. Every time you visit a website, the images are saved on your disk. This makes the page load faster when you visit it again. Over time, this can become a very large file. To empty the folder 1. Open Internet Explorer (even if you normally use a different browser) 2. Select Tools – Internet Options 3. In the middle of the popup window click on the Delete Files button. If it takes a long time, then you had lots of files to remove. You can also remove cookies from this popup window. If you do, then you will have to re-enter any saved passwords.
Time for new Antivirus SoftwareThis is a departure from my normal recommendation. Due to the many advances in the actual antivirus software, it is time to upgrade your software. Whenever your subscription expires, you need to purchase new software.
