Our Costa Rican Adventure - Mangrove Swamp

Jim and Barbara Dickinson and Jerry and Jan Eygendaal planned another adventure. 

We were planning to go to Hawaii but procrastination entered the picture and Jan finally said she had been there and done that.  She wanted to go to Costa Rica.

The entrance to the river from the sea.  We had to hurry in the morning because the tide was coming in and the surf was getting higher.This is an area where we could see the surf activity.
We surfed the waves into the river.A River Hotel left from the American Fruit Company days.  There are several establishments along the river that are only accessible by boat.
